Ordering Copies

The Parliamentary Archives Imaging Team can supply:

  • A4 and A3 black and white hard copies
  • A4 to A0 colour prints
  • Digital images (pdf documents or 300dpi jpegs)

The Parliamentary Archives reserves the right to copy original records using the copying process or processes which will minimise risk of damage to the records. We may refuse copying of records where the risk of damage to these documents is deemed high.

Getting a Quote

Customers must supply the document catalogue reference, clear guidance on what they want copied and whether they want hard copies or digital images. Our enquiry team will then provide a quote for the supply of copies and any postage charges.

Payment must be made before the request will be added to our copy order queue. Once in the queue, copy orders are processed on a strict first-come, first-served basis.

We aim to dispatch copies within 10 working days from payment, subject to the size and complexity of the order.

Fees and charges (from 4 November 2013)

Charges are levied in accordance with our Copying Service Charging Policy. Please see the following lists for current copying and postage charges:

Copies may only be used for non-commercial research or private study. No further copies may be made from the supplied copy.
