- Description: Copies of surveys of church lands and livings made by the Parliamentary surveyors, commissioned by virtue of ordinances of 17 November 1646 and later, for the sale of Bishops' lands, 30 April 1649 and later for the sale of Dean and Chapter lands, and on 8 June 1649 for the valuation of church livings. The introduction and index were prepared by Dr A C Ducarel, Lambeth Palace Librarian, 1751-1765. The Surveys include those of the lands of Bishops and of Deans and Chapters. The index, comprising a whole volume, refers both to the manuscript surveys preserved at Lambeth and also to these copies (which are differently paginated).

- Physical Description: The original 21 manuscript volumes were rebound into 14 volumes by the Commons Library. Bond lists 27 volumes, although this may be a typing error.
